The first basic expectation of the tourist will be to know the history, story of creation, the people behind creation of the particular place. So, steps must be taken by the department to clearly explain to them, regarding all these.
There must be help desks and a plenty number of guides all around the place to explain and the tourists. This will be the best way to express our hospitality to the guests. The uniqueness of the place must be clearly explained. Photographers can be installed at many spots. This will create a memorable time, being spent at the spot, for the tourists.
Getting stunned by the awesome flow of the beautiful waterfall is what most of the tourists do. The mandatory requirement in such waterfall spots is to create a place for all the tourists to sit and relax. They must be made to feel that nature is at its best. That kind of feeling can be provoked, by letting them sit back and enjoy.
Many tourists prefer getting wet in the pure water flowing in front of their eyes. So, they also expect the department to identify the safe place for them to get in and have a chill bath. This area should be safe and secure. The area should be fenced . it should not be slippery too.
The other facilities expected are that fixing of telescope for the tourists to have a closer look at distant beautiful shots. There are people, who would like hot and fresh fish being served to them. So, arrangement for this also needs to be made.
Above all, the safety of every tourist is important. The slippery surface and the fast flowing water are dangerous. Necessary precautions need to be taken. This will surely make every beautiful waterfall, a hotspot for tourists.
It is only through strict supervision, the beauty of any tourist spot can be preserved. Not only its’ beauty, the safety of the tourists and the pride of the nation also need to be preserved. This is the top most duty of the tourism department.
Police booths and help desks should be made available at all the tourist spots. The number of cops, at service, in crowded tourist spots should be increased. The tourists should be informed with all the emergency phone numbers, including hospital, fire station, police booth etc.., Check posts should be installed at maximum possible spots and every vehicle should be screened. Every bag carried by the tourists should be thoroughly screened at the entrance of the tourist spots.
Tourists should be informed clearly regarding the rules to be followed at every spot. Those who seem to violate the rules, should be warned and those who cross the tolerance limit, should treated as per law. All this should be done with proper protocol and actions taken should not disturb the other tourists and also not let the country’s pride down
The hills are one of the most astonishing creations on this earth. They, not only scale higher geographically, but also make our spirits fly high in enthusiasm and excitement. The general features of a hill stations are that they are cool, wet, green and humid. All these make the hills most sought after places, especially during summer.

An art that needs its manager to synchronise all the divisions that provide life to this sector of tourism and to work towards taking the pride of the nation to a greater heights.
